The Okanagan people have a rich and diverse history that dates back to the beginning of time. They are a diverse group with multiple territories that are connected by language, culture, and common ancestry. The Okanagan people have been in the Okanagan Valley since time immemorial and have a deep connection to the land and its resources. The Okanagan people have a long history of traditional fishing, hunting, and gathering practices that have been passed down through generations. Today, they are working to preserve their culture and traditions and share them with the world. There are a number of licensed and unlicensed, independently owned and operated cannabis businesses both on and off the local reservations. A visit to the Okanagan Valley is a great way to explore and learn about the history of the Okanagan people and sample the flower they lovingly craft in their communities.
